Last year I tried a food stall in Venice and loved the food. Well, turns out one of the chefs has opened his own spot, called CVCHE, located on Whittier Blvd. And yes, you will see low-riders cruising by.
I stopped by for dinner a few weeks back and tried a few dishes. This is a one man show and Walther is in the kitchen preparing the food.
This place is still somewhat new, so menu items may change, but there is no doubt that this chef is very talented and passionate about Peruvian cuisine.
I especially loved the octopus!
